About Theresa’s House
Founded by Theresa Kashale in 2006, Theresa’s House is a collaborative project between the communities in Sioux Falls, SD and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Our mission is to provide protection for children who have been left orphaned or abandoned in the Congo due to years of civil war and the AIDS epidemic. We promote their integration into the social mainstream by providing shelter, food, and education.
How You Can Help
You Can Pray
Although the Democratic Republic of the Congo has known much trauma and war, it has also been blessed with exquisite beauty and abundant natural resources. Pray that God will raise up wise leaders to lead and protect the Congolese people.
You Can Give
Any donation given with joy will bless our children, staff, and the orphanage community in Kinshasa. Donations can be made via PayPal, direct contribution, or check by mail.
You Can Volunteer
We are looking for people to serve on the Theresa’s House board and our event committee. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us for more information.
